Sourdough French toast

Ingredients

• 2 slices Sourdough Country Bread
• 2 eggs, ½ cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp brown sugar
• Butter
• 1 cup heavy cream, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla
• Mixed berries

Steps

1. 1Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar; soak the bread on both sides.
2. 2Cook in butter over medium heat, 2–3 minutes per side.
3. 3Whip the cream with vanilla and powdered sugar to soft peaks.
4. 4Serve with cream and warmed berries.
